As customary for Haakplein, the name of the CAL is based on the stitches and patterns used in the project. The name Ups ‘n Downs was chosen because the design consists of ripple patterns in at time challenging patterns.

Ups ‘n Downs is available as a complete yarn kit in three color variations: Grey Sand, Pink Beach and Blue Wave. The kits contain enough yarn for the entire project, a little box of stitch markers and as finishing touch a leather label. The project is made with Durable Cosy extra fine and uses crochet hook 3.5 mm/E. There are 29 balls included in each kit.

The CAL starts on Friday April 2nd but you can join in at any time and ends in June, resulting in a blanket of approx. 165 x 120 cm, 65 x 47 inch (LxW) as the end result. The patterns, which are released on weekly or bi-weekly basis, will feature written text and crochet charts.
